History of Video Games 1980

Namco releases Pac-Man, partnering with Midway for the US release. It goes on sale as an arcade machine but is also available on the Atari 2600. By 1982, Namco would sell 400,000 Pac-Man arcade cabinets and 8 million copies for the Atari 2600.
