Reporting To: Senior Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs

Position Summary:

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for managing and designing the ESA brand. This position will manage key ESA event pieces and relationships with vendors. This includes websites, graphics, and social media while maintaining brand consistency. The Designer will report to the SVP, Communications and Public Affairs but will also support other departments and teams of ESA. This position is based in Washington, DC. ESA employees are in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and may work remotely Monday and Friday.

Duties for the Designer role include designing and producing content for video templates, trade shows, and social media aligning with the ESA brand and mission. This position will also see projects through while keeping budgeting and deadlines in mind, assist producers with various platform content, and produce art and copy to support membership activities, events, and industry communications.

Qualified candidates must have 4-6 years of graphic design experience and a wide-range portfolio that can showcase marketing, web design, and infographics. Ability to work both collaboratively and independently on projects against deadlines. Ideal candidates will also have experience in video and animation creative deliverables.

The budgeted salary range for this position 70-85K with eligibility for a bonus.
