RE: Written Comments on the Modified Draft CCPA Regulations
To Whom It May Concern:
The Entertainment Software Association (“ESA”)1 submits these comments in response to the Attorney General’s Updated Notice of Modifications to Text of Proposed Regulations implementing the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).2 These modifications take several important steps in the right direction to ensure the privacy and security of Californians’ is protected, consistent with the statute. ESA and its members respectfully request that the Attorney General further clarify the four points described below to avoid confusion about how the Attorney General’s office plans to interpret and enforce the statutory requirements.
