Dear Mr. Gresser:
The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) welcomes the opportunity to provide comments in response to the request for industry input by the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) on U.S. government’s negotiating objectives in the proposed free trade negotiation between the United States and the United Kingdom (UK). ESA is the U.S. trade association for companies that publish interactive entertainment software for video game consoles, handheld devices, personal computers, and the internet.1 Our members not only create some of the world’s most engaging interactive experiences for consumers, but also develop novel technologies that are at the cutting edge, such as virtual, augmented and mixed reality hardware and software as well as the latest consoles and handheld video game devices.
